Tele Columbus teams up with Alcatel Lucent for interactive TV

German cable operator Tele Columbus has signed a deal with Alcatel Lucent for the latter to supply technology to support interactive digital TV services.

Tele Columbus said a range of new services, including channel portals, teleshopping and information services, would be available early in the last quarter of 2009 using Alcatel Lucent’s DMS-I platform.
