Liberty Global unit ups stake in Telenet

Liberty Globals Dutch-based investment unit Binan Investments has acquired a stake of over 30% in Belgian cable operator Telenet.
Telenet received notification of that Binan held over 30% of the company on August 27, in accordance with the law on public takeovers.
Liberty GlobalÂs stake in Telenet stood at 50.2% on June 19.
