Alice posts positive EBITDA for first time

French internet service provider and IPTV operator Iliad has announced that its Alice operation made a positive EBITDA contribution for the first time since it was acquired in August 2008.

Overall EBITDA reached €307.8m during the first half of the year, up 20% year-on-year, with Alice contributing €5.5m. Alice’s performance exceeded expectations after Iliad had aimed for it to break even during the first half of the year. 

Iliad previously announced first-half revenues of €969.8m, with Alice contributing €182.2m.
