P&T Luxembourg chooses Ateme for HD

Luxembourg telco P&T Luxembourg has chosen French technology company Ateme to provide IPTV headend equipment including its HD MPEG-4 encoding platform.

P&T Luxembourg plans to launch HDTV linear broadcast services later this year. Ateme equipment supplied to the telco includes the Kyrion AM2101 market leading MPEG-4 AVC HD encoder, DR8100 integrated receiver decoders and Skyline Dataminer network management system.
