Canal Plus expected to keep exclusive TF1 channels

French satellite pay-TV operator Canal Plus is expected to keep the exclusive rights to air French commercial broadcaster TF1’s thematic channels for another two years, according to local press.

Currently, channels LCI, Eurosport, TV Breizh, Ushuaia TV and Histoire are available through the CanalSat platform. Rival operators, including Free and Orange, have until Friday to make an offer, although they are not expected to win the contract.
