Adtec to provide equipment to Elber

Italian-based microwave link provider Elber has formed a partnership with TV technology supplier Adtec Digital to use its encoders to provide fixed and mobile broadcasting links internationally over DVB-T, IP and DVB-S networks.

Elber uses Adtec Digital’s encoders, the edje5110-RM for standard definition and mediaHUB-HD Pro for high definition, along with Adtec’s DTA3050-ASI multiplexer to create a multiple programme transport stream for transmission at the remote antennas for distribution to major regional, national and international carriers, particularly in South America and Africa.

Italian clients include La7, MTV, Tele A, Canale Italia, RAIWay (the technical division of the Italian public broadcaster) and regional and local broadcasters.
