ITV falls below self imposed targets
UK commercial broadcaster ITV has seen its total audience share fall below its self-imposed targets for the last two months.
The broadcaster has seen its “share of commercial impacts”, which includes its digital channels as well as its main terrestrial channel, fall to 38.1% in June and 38% in July. This is below the 38.5% target that executive chairman Michael Grade set for the broadcaster by digital switchover in 2012. The company is also expected to announce Grade’s successor in the coming weeks.
