Kabel BW to broadcast ZDF HD

German cable operator Kabel BW is to air public broadcaster ZDF’s showcase HD coverage of the Athletics World Championship in Berlin from August 15-23. ZDF also plans to cover other special events in HD, including the Olympic Winter Games in February.

Kabel BW already offers HD programming from public broadcasters ARD as well as a range of HD channels from Sky Deutschland and other providers.
