Canal Plus Cyfrowy to launch multiroom

Polish satellite pay-TV operator Canal Plus Cyfrowy is launching a new multiroom service and hopes it will help boost the number of subscribers by “tens of thousands”.

The service will allow viewers to be able to watch different TV channels on two TV sets under one subscription fee. The operator, which currently has 1.38 million subscribers, hopes to launch the service later this year.
