Canal Plus analogue switch-off dates confirmed

French pay-TV provider Canal Plus is to cease analogue transmissions in the country’s northern reception zone, covering areas served by transmitters in Lille, including Bouvigny, Boulogne, Mont Lambert and Maubeuge, on April 14 next year, following a decision by audiovisual media regulator the CSA.

Analogue transmissions in the Picardie region will end on the same date, followed by Corsica on May 6.
