Saudis shut down LBC after talk show scandal
Authorities in Saudi Arabia have closed down the local office of the LBC channel after a talk show guest sparked outrage and a flurry of complaints by talking about his sexual exploits.
The guest, Saudi national Mazen Abdul-Jawad, was speaking on the LBC talk-show Bold Red Line, in an episode that went out on July 15. Saudi authorities said the station was operating without a licence. LBC is based in Beirut.
