Broadcast automation specialist OmniBus has added new internet TV and streaming capabilities to iTX, its software-based playout application.
Version 1.3 of iTX, which will launch at IBC in September, will offer enhanced internet TV and streaming applications, either as a stand-alone operation or as an extension of traditional broadcasting channels. It offers video and audio transitions, logo insertions and voice-overs. OmniBus said it also creates extra revenue opportunities by enabling the insertion of advertising based on schedule time, cue tones, GPIs, SCTE 104 or manual triggering.Â
