UPC Romania launches Pink package

Cable operator UPC Romania has launched a package of channels from Serbia’s Pink on its digital tier in the city of Timisoara in Transylvania.

The UPC Pink package, with four channels, can be added to any existing UPC digital package for €5 per month. The pack, which includes international general entertainment channels Pink Plus and Pink Extra, music channel Pink Music and film channel Pink Film, targets Serbian speakers in the region.

The move follows the launch in June by UPC of a package of channels targeting the Hungarian-speaking minority in Transylvania.
