MTV Czech set for November launch

MTV Networks International and local terrestrial broadcaster TV Nova are set to launch localized Czech music channel MTV Czech at the end of November.

This comes after MTV struck a deal with Nova’s parent company, pan regional broadcaster CME last year to launch a local version of the channel in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia. The channel will air a mix of original series and repurposed MTV content including local versions of Cribs and Nitro Circus. The channel will be available across cable, satellite and IPTV platforms.
