â¨Mediaset-owned market-leading Spanish commercial broadcaster Telecinco has said it will focus on investing in its digital-terrestrial channels La Siete and FactorÃa de FiccÃon during the last four months of the year.
Telecinco intends to launch a daily news programme on La Siete and to boost FactorÃa de FiccÃons international programming acquisitions.â¨Advertising arm PubliespaÃ±a will implement a new multichannel marketing strategy from August to build advertising around the digital channels. The company said the level of digital-terrestrial coverage now justified a new approach.â¨
Telecinco posted net profits of Â62.2m for the first half of the year, with gross advertising revenues of Â309.48m. Total revenues for the first half were Â320.76m.
