TF1 launches iPhone player

French commercial broadcaster TF1 has launched TF1 Player, a new iPhone application downloadable from the Apple Store for €3.99 a year.

TF1 Player allows iPhone users to watch the channel on their phones via 3G or WiFi and to access TF1 catch-up programmes. According to a report in financial daily Les Echos, TF1 intends to make the player available on other devices in the future.
