Finland-based cable technology specialist Teleste has reported second-quarter revenues of 30.6m, up from Â29.3m for the same period last year. Operating profit was Â0.4m, down from Â1.7m last year, but an improvement on the first quarter.
Teleste said that it had suffered year-on-year from decreased deliveries in the broadband cable networks business, but improvements had been made quarter-on-quarter thanks to well-managed material costs and other adjustments.
Teleste said its orders received stood at Â29.6m at the end of the quarter, down from Â37.4m for the same period last year.Â
