Mid Europa Partners completes UPC Slovenia acquisition

Central and Eastern European investment firm Mid Europa Partners has completed its acquisition of cable and broadband operator UPC Slovenia.

The investment firm has paid €119.5m to pan-regional cable operator Liberty Global for the company. The deal expands Mid Europa Partners TV and telecom business in the region following its acquisition of Serbian pay-TV operators SBB and TotalTV.
