UK pay-TV operator has renewed its capacity deal with satellite operator SES Astra for 24 transponders at the 28.2° East orbital position.
In total, Sky is using 31 transponders on the Astra satellite system. The two parties began working together in 1989 when Sky launched its first analogue multichannel package on the Astra 1A satellite.
