Virgin Media launches Universal’s PictureBox

UK cable operator Virgin Media will launch Universal Picture’s VOD service PictureBox this week.

From July, Virgin Media’s subscribers will be able to select up to 28 films at any time for £5 (€5.80) per month. Seven new titles will be added each Friday, most of which will be in HD. Recent and library films will be available, including Hot Fuzz, The Bourne Ultimatum and Scarface.
