BT Media & Broadcast teams up with CET Teleport

BT Media & Broadcast, the telco’s media services arm, has signed an agreement with Germany-based CET Teleport, to extend the reach of its Global Media Network.

The deal will enable companies in central and eastern Europe, Russia and central and north-east Asia to deliver and exchange large-bandwidth content via BT’s network. CET Teleport has access to over 200 satellites around the globe. BT’s Global Media Network currently offers coverage of about 70 locations in 10 countries.
