Horse racing broadcaster Racing UK is set to launch a standalone channel following the demise of sports pay-TV service Setanta.
The channel, which airs horse racing from courses including Aintree and Epsom Downs, was previously part of the Setanta Sports Pack. It will now negotiate carriage with pay-TV platforms BSkyB and Virgin Media for its standalone channel and will charge subscribers £20 (23) per month, which includes the companyÂs online service.Â
