Canal Plus channels available on Netbox

French pay-TV provider Canal Plus has signed a deal with consumer electronics supplier Netgem to make its channels available on its hybrid Netbox set-tops.

Subscribers to Netgem’s Video Futur service (commercialised via the DVD rental chain of the same name) or Le Pack TV FNAC, the hybrid digital-terrestrial/IPTV pay-TV service it developed in partnership with retail chain FNAC, will be able to sign up to Canal Plus’ channels, including Canal Plus in HD, Canal Plus Cinéma and Canal Plus Sport. The deal completes Netgem’s digital-terrestrial pay-TV line-up, available to Video Future and FNAC customers.
