Vox to launch VOD service

German cable channel Vox, which is owned by RTL Group, is launching its own online video-on-demand service.

The platform will run independently of its parent company, which previously aired Vox programming across its online service. The portal, which will be known as Vox Now, will launch at the start of July and will include programming such as Fox’s teen drama The OC and CBS Studios International’s crime drama CSI as well as a range of local programming.
Shows will be free for thirty days but will cost between €1-2 after this period.
