CS Link taps Astra for extra capacity

Czech pay-TV service CS Link has leased additional capacity from satellite operator Astra.

CS Link will use an additional transponder from the 23.5° East orbital position to enhance its channel line up, including new HD channels. The operator currently broadcasts 32 digital TV channels in the Czech Republic, reaching 350,000 customers. With this new agreement, CS Link will use four transponders on the Astra satellite system.
