MultiChoice takes Hallmark Channel

NBC Universal Global Networks, the international channels arm of the Hollywood studio, has struck a deal with South African pay-TV operator MultiChoice to renew carriage of its Hallmark Channel.

The channel, which airs US series such as NCIS, Law & Order, Cane and House as well as British drama Foyle’s War and Canadian cop series Flashpoint, is one of the country’s top rated pay-TV channels and this deal means that it will continue to be able to over two million subscribers via the DStv service.
