Spanish satellite operator Hispasat increased its net profits by 31% to 47m for the full year to the end of 2008.
The operator reported total revenue of Â137.5m, up 7.1% year-on-year. Clients based in Europe and North Africa accounted for 68.5% of revenues, while those in America represented 31.5%. EBITDA for the year was up Â10m to Â111.1m.
Hispasat ended the year broadcasting over 1,100 TV channels and radio stations.
