UPC Austria launches new VOD service

UPC Austria has launched a new VOD service that allows users to pause, rewind and fast forward titles.

The service lets users watch content multiple times within a 24 hour period, with films priced from €1.98. From launch, recent films including Michael Clayton, The Wave and Asterix at the Olympic Games are available for €3.98, along with a library of over 100 older titles. In addition, 70 erotic titles are available for €5.98 each.

To-date, UPC Austria has offered a near video-on-demand service, with films starting at regular periods during the day.
