RTB to launch HD channel

Brunei broadcaster Radio Television Brunei (RTB) is to launch a new high definition entertainment channel.

The state run broadcaster, which currently operates two channels RTB1 and RTB2 that air news, kids series, documentaries and sports in English and Malay, plans to air a mix of locally produced HD content and international acquisitions. This follows the launch of a new HD studio in Kuala Belait.
