Canal Plus strikes movie window agreements

French pay-TV broadcaster Canal Plus has said it has now concluded agreements with the bulk of media rights holders in France that will allow the development of a coherent and legal offer combining video-on-demand and broadcast windows for movies.

Canal Plus said it was now able films across different platforms in a coherent way. The broadcaster has been attempting to strike a deal over movie windows since 2006.
