Vectra cuts contract periods in response to downturn

Polish cable operator Vectra has changed its subscriber contract terms in response to the economic downturn.

Vectra has shortened the 12-month contracts of some internet subscribers to nine months, while longer 24-month contracts have been shortened to 18 months. Vectra said it would also offer special terms to subscribers who lost their jobs as a result of the downturn.
