Comstar launches Universal Channel

Russian pay-TV operator Comstar has launched NBC Universal Global Networks’ Universal Channel.

The fully localised channel is available each day from 09:00 to 03:00 and features series including House, Numb3rs and Psych as well as movies Gladiator, Born on the Fourth of July and Scarface.

In the past 18 months, NBC Universal Global Networks has launched channels in Greece, the UK, France, Portugal, Russia, Romania, Poland, Japan and Hong Kong.
