Aster launches VOD service

Polish cable operator Aster has launched a video-on-demand service, initially with about 300 titles.

Most films will be available both in Polish and the original language, and in 5.1 Surroundsound. Most titles will be available for PLN8 (€1.80), with adult movies priced at PLN12.

The service will initially be available to DVR subscribers, but Aster said it would make the service available to all subscribers with an HD set-top or DVR by the end of June.
