CSA extends Orange Sport permission

French media regulator the CSA has extended its agreement with France Télécom for the transmission of its Orange Sport channel until November 30. Orange resumed marketing the channel to new subscribers on May 15, after a court overturned a previous decision by the Tribunal of Commerce that prevented it from marketing the service on competition grounds.

Separately, the CSA has revoked the licences of channels Planète Junior and Fun TV, both of which have ceased broadcasting, and has granted permission to Tropik Muzik TV to broadcast on non-terrestrial networks.
