Sky Italia offers Al Jazeera kids channels

Italian pay-TV operator Sky Italia is set to launch two new kids channels – Al Jazeera Children’s Channel (JCC) and Arabic preschool net Baraem. This follows a deal between channel distributor Thema and the News Corp-owned satellite pay-TV platform.

Al Jazeera Children’s Channel, which airs a raft of acquisitions and originally produced kids series, and Arabic-language preschool channel Baraem will both be available as part of Sky Italia’s Arabic-language package.
