Mobile satellite service provider Iridium has set up a subsidiary in Russia to pursue a licence to provide mobile satellite services in the country.
Iridium, which provides services via its constellation of low-Earth orbit satellites, aims to provide a range of services in Russia, notably in its remote Arctic regions.
