RSCC choose ISS Reshetnev

Russian satellite operator RSCC has awarded ISS Reshetnev the contract to design and manufacture the Express AM5 and Express AM6 satellites.

Express AM5 and Express AM6 are scheduled to be put into orbit in 2012 at 140º East and 53º East orbital slots respectively. They will provide various broadcast and multimedia services. The operational service time of each satellite will be 15 years.
