Branson reduces Virgin Media stake

Sir Richard Branson has reduced his stake in UK cable operator Virgin Media to just 6.5%.
The decision forms part of Bransons move, announced in May 2007, to raise US$224m (Â164m) by pledging part of his 10.45% stake in the operator to investment back Credit Suisse. Branson is now Virgin Media’s fourth largest shareholder.
