Unitymedia upgrades more towns

German cable operator Unitymedia is upgrading its network in the towns of Warstein, Rüthen and Umgebung and will begin offering triple-play services in these areas at the end of May.

The upgrade covers about 9,300 additional households. Unitymedia has committed itself to bringing broadband services to rural areas in North-Rhine Westphalia and Hesse.
