France Télécom/Orange will resume marketing its Orange sport channel to new subscribers from today.
The move follows a ruling by the Paris Appeal Court yesterday that overturned a previous decision by the Tribunal of Commerce in February preventing it from commercialising the service on competition grounds.
Orange said it was fully satisfied with the decision by the court. The original ruling followed a complaint by Vivendi-owned SFR and Free.
The telco will begin selling the sport channel to new subscribers via its website from this evening and via its stores from tomorrow.Â
