Poland’s N sees subs boost

Polish media company TVN’s pay TV platform ‘n’ has recorded a subscriber boost to 549,000, compared to 239,000 last year.

However, the company, which also operates the country’s leading free-to-air commercial network, posted a first quarter net loss of PLN29 million (€6.5m) as a result of foreign exchange losses related to its European debt.
