UKTV Food gets Good rebrand

UK pay-TV channel UKTV Food is rebranding itself Good Food. The channel, which is operated by UKTV, a joint venture between BBC Commercial arm BBC Worldwide and UK MSO Virgin Media, will adopt the new name from June 22.

UKTV has licensed the Good Food brand from BBC Worldwide. The lifestyle channel will, UKTV says, will target a 25-to-44-year-old demo with a schedule that is 80% made up of new commissions and exclusive acquisitions.
