Unitymedia launches DVR

German cable operator Unitymedia has launched a new DVR service.

The operator has chosen the Samsung DCB-P850G DVR, which includes dual tuners and a 160Gb hard drive that can store up to 70 hours of programming. It also includes a USB port to enable users to view photos and listen to music on the TV. The DVR is available for €5 per month for triple-play subscribers and €10 for others.
