Inmarsat reports strong growth

Global mobile satellite specialist Inmarsat reported revenue of US$163.4m (€122.4m) for the first quarter, up 10.5% year-on-year. EBITDA was up 13.2% to US$117.3m, while profit after tax was up 35.3% to US$39.1m.

Chairman and CEO Andrew Sukawaty said the results demonstrated the underlying resilience of the markets in which Inmarsat operated.
