Com Hem says sorry with football

Swedish cable operator Com Hem made some of its premium sports channels available for free yesterday by way of an apology to its customers following the previous day’s loss of service due to a lightening strike at its power grid.

The Viasat Sport package, which includes Viasat Sport, Viasat Football, Viasat Motor and Viasat Sport HD, is available for free until 18:00 local time today. It meant viewers were able to watch the Champions League semi final between Chelsea and Barcelona last night after missing the Arsenal versus Manchester United match on Tuesday due to the network outage.
