French IPTV universe grows

France had 6.2 million households capable of receiving an IPTV service at the end of last year, up 36.8% year-on-year, according to the latest survey by telecom regulator ARCEP. The figure represented 37% of ADSL subscribers in the country.

There were 17.691 million broadband internet subscribers in France at the end of 2008, up 13.8% year-on-year.
