Satellite operator Eutelsat has launched its consumer internet service Tooway in the UK.
Tooway offers internet access with speeds up to 2Mbps to areas without terrestrial broadband networks from £29.99 (33.60) a month.
Tooway will be delivered in the UK via a network of certified local distributors, including Bentley Walker Satellite Internet Solutions, Avonline in Bristol, Satellite Solutions Worldwide in Oxfordshire and Remote Data Services Ltd in Perthshire, Scotland. The Tooway solution consists of a small satellite dish and a modem connected to the PC via Ethernet.Â
