Thomson confirms DOCSIS 3.0 certification

Video technology company Thomson has announced that its cable modems and voice-over-IP gateways have received the DOCSIS 3.0 and EuroDOCSIS 3.0 certifications.

Thomson said the TCM470 cable modem and the THG570 VoIP gateway are the first EuroDOCSIS 3.0 certified products capable of bonding eight downstream channels in a cost effective one chipset solution. The DCM475 cable modem and DHG575 VoIP gateway are now DOCSIS 3.0 certified.
