AEPOC extends anti-piracy support to eastern Europe

AEPOC, the anti-piracy organization, has announced its support for preventing audio-visual piracy in Eastern European countries.

During a recent board meeting held in Prague, the organisation said it was committed to extending its anti-piracy focus to eastern Europe.
AEPOC said building increased public awareness as to why piracy is so harmful is key. The organisation said that piracy “puts cultural diversity, artistic creation and also social employment at stake, besides the risk for consumers to expose themselves to litigation when making use of illegal offerings
