Iflix strikes deal with Lego for Africa and the Middle East

‘Asian Netflix’ iflix has struck a deal with Lego Systems to launch a dedicated Lego channel in Africa and the Middle East.

Iflix, which has targeted both Africa and the Middle East for expansion, has struck a two-year distribution deal with the iconic toy manufacturer to add a range of Lego series to its content line-up.

The SVOD player will offer subscribers in both regions access to stream and download Lego kids content including Ninjago Masters of Spinjitzu, The Kingdom of Shadows and The Way of The Ninja, Ninjago Masters of Spinjitzu Day of the Departed, Nexo Knights, Friends of Heartlake City, Jurassic World Indominus Escape, Marvel Superheroes Maximum Overload, Marvel Superheroes Avengers Reassembled, DC Superheroes Batman Beleaguered, and City Shorts.

In total, Iflix will air 122 episodes of 10 titles from the Lego line-up.
